Poor but Sexy – The Berlin Attitude (B-025)

“Arm aber sexy”—poor but sexy—became a famous shorthand for Berlin under former mayor Klaus Wowereit. The phrase captured a city with limited money but enormous creative energy: imperfect, experimental and confident in its own character. Berlin has changed since then, yet the slogan remains part of its mythology. This direct typographic design celebrates the humour and self-awareness behind a line the city adopted as an attitude.
